Terms & Conditions – Gurosun Armenia

These Terms & Conditions govern the rental of vehicles by Gurosun Armenia (the Company) to the customer (the Renter). By signing the rental agreement, the renter confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted all the provisions outlined below.

Driver Qualifications

A vehicle may be rented by individuals who meet the following requirements:

• Minimum age: 23 years;
• Minimum driving experience: 1 year;
• Presentation of a valid driver’s license, passport, and credit card at the time of rental.

An International Driving Permit is not required if the license contains age information in Latin letters, except for citizens of the United States and Canada.

Driver Competence Rules

The renter must not allow anyone else to operate the vehicle unless they are formally registered as an additional driver.

The vehicle cannot be driven by anyone who:

• Is not listed on the rental agreement as the main or additional driver;
• Does not comply with Gurosun Armenia’s rental conditions or Armenian law;
• Is under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other impairing substances.

Insurance Coverage

Gurosun Armenia provides two types of insurance:

• Standard Insurance (deposit required: 190,000 AMD) Includes CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) covering accidental damages up to 190,000 AMD and Theft Protection (TP). Coverage is only valid if the renter notifies Gurosun and the insurance company immediately after an incident.
• Full Insurance (optional, 7,000 AMD per day, max 49,000 AMD for rental period) Expands coverage to include tires, glass, and additional damages. This insurance is non-refundable.

Insurance applies only if:

• The driver is authorized in the rental agreement;
• The driver is not under alcohol or drug influence;
• Police and security reports are filed;
• Gurosun Armenia and the insurance company are informed at the time of the incident.

Accidents, Theft & Vandalism

The renter must report any accident, theft, or vandalism to:

1. The rental company
2. The police
3. The insurance company

Failure to comply makes the renter fully responsible for all damages.

The renter must:

• Retain all keys, registration documents, remote controls, and anti-theft devices;
• Provide copies of police reports at vehicle return;
• Cooperate fully with Gurosun Armenia and insurance investigators.

If damage or missing items are identified after vehicle return due to poor inspection conditions (e.g., darkness, bad weather, dirtiness), Gurosun Armenia reserves the right to charge the renter within 48 hours of discovery.

Parking & Traffic Violations

The renter is responsible for all traffic or parking fines incurred during the rental period.
If Gurosun Armenia pays fines on behalf of the renter, repayment is required including any administrative costs. Copies of fines are available upon request.

One-Way Rentals

One-way rentals between Armenia and Georgia are permitted if notified at least 48 hours in advance.

Crossing the Georgian border requires a special authorization issued by Gurosun and included in the rental agreement. This authorization is provided for a one-time fee of 18,000 AMD and remains valid for the entire rental period.

Driving Restrictions

The vehicle may not be used for:

• Subleasing or re-renting
• Illegal activities or violations of traffic rules
• Driving in prohibited areas
• Driving lessons
• Racing or high-speed competitions
• Transporting animals without proper carriers and prior approval from Gurosun Armenia

Responsibility for Customer Property

Gurosun Armenia is not responsible for personal belongings left in the vehicle. The renter should check the vehicle thoroughly before returning it.

Vehicle Pickup, Delivery & Return

Vehicles are delivered clean, with a full fuel tank and complete documentation. The renter must return the vehicle at the agreed location, date, and time, in the same condition.

• The condition of the vehicle is documented in an inspection report annexed to the rental agreement;
• Delays incur fees: 1-hour grace period, up to 6 hours = half-day charge, over 6 hours = full-day charge;
• Cleaning fee: 5,000 AMD if returned dirty;
• Fuel fee: 500 AMD per missing liter.

Gurosun Armenia Locations

Our main office is located in Yerevan at 8 Northern Avenue.
Airport pick-up and drop-off are available for an additional fee. Branches in Georgia also allow vehicle return for an extra charge.

• Bank Transfer
• Cash (in AMD at the National Bank exchange rate)
